    The town of Danta Ambaji is located in the Indian state of Gujarat, India. This town is a very popular tourist destination due to countless temples that are present in the region & that it is mainly accessible due to its proximity to the city of Ahmedabad. This town is also an important Shakti Pith Tirth & is among the most ancient Shakti Piths in the state of Gujarat.

    Ambaji - the Origin of the Supreme Cosmic Power of the Universe is one of the 51 ancient Shakti Piths Tirth in India. There are 12 main Shakti Pith Tirths, significant places of pilgrimage for the worship of Shakti, namely, Ma Bhagwati Mahakali Maha Shakti, spread across the country.

    Apart from the religious attraction, Ambaji is famously known for possessing mines which produce fine quality marble and granite.


    AMBAJI TEMPLE

    The main temple in this region is a temple that is dedicated to the chief deity Ambe. The Ambika of Arasur, occupies an enviable place. She is popularly known throughout Gujarat and Maharastra as Ambaji. This temple, also known as the Ambe temple, is a shrine that is quite famous among pilgrims, mainly because it does not house an idol. The temple has a yantra which is fully made of marble. This yantra stands at a significant spot that is supposed to represent the location of the goddess.

    Devotees from all over the country flock to this temple during the festival season of Navratri & Poornima with their spirit of faith they hold for the Goddess.
